About Me
I believe children are extremely intelligent beings; new little humans who are remarkable and special in their own particular ways. They have come into this world not as empty vessels, but as beings that are already filled with unique gifts and personalities. They deserve to be guided and introduced into their new home without having to change who they already are. They deserve to be loved and respected as individuals. As adults, we have the responsibility to learn children’s language before we can dare to teach them ours. In this way, they can settle into their new reality in the best possible way. Feeling loved, valued, respected and accepted.

My name is Anamaria, I'm 34 years old and I am from Colombia. I’ve been in Canada for 14 years, and I have two diplomas from Algonquin College; one in Early Childhood Education (2016) and the other one in Social Services (2008). I also have a diploma in Early Childhood from the North America Montessori Centre.
After working in a Montessori school back in 2014-2015, I decided to further my education in order to become the best I can be at this newly found passion of mine. Needless to say, I love children! My love makes me a strong believer that by following my students’ interests and guiding them to use their gifts and talents, they will become the best they can be. I deeply enjoy helping children blossom into happy, successful members of society.
